I need to pay a deposit for my daughters uni accommodation in Spain. It's €700. What would be the best way to do this? Is it possible from a UK bank?

TIA

We need to do a bank transfer. They've given us the account number but I've no idea how to do it.
If the payment will be going to an organisation that accepts debit cards then, as TTT suggests, that's the way to go. Otherwise consider using PayPal Xoom to transfer the funds:

^^^ Crossed posts but you can use Xoom to make a bank transfer anyway.

Xoom is currently using a transaction rate of £1 = €1.1575, meaning that you need to send £604.75 (plus a transaction fee of £1.49).
If you have online banking then go to international banking and follow the links

Many thanks to you all. I've just looked on my bank account and it seems I can do it from there if I get IBAN and BIC numbers. Though it looks like Chris' idea is £16 cheaper.
The easiest and cheapest way is to use Wise (was Transferwise)
I transfer money to Turkey on occasions to pay bills on our property.
Last week I sent just £10 to my Turkish account and it was there next day at negligable cost. Last year I sent £1000 and uit was there next day. DO NOT use your bank, they will sting you!
It took a foreign bank two weeks to find a bank transfer I sent! Other suggestions are better
