I'm Babysitting Tomorrow.

Daughter has just rung. She has got a 10 week old kitten. She wants me to sit with it tomorrow afternoon until grandson comes home from work. She is off to pick up a puppy from somewhere hours away.
One of her cats died last week so she wanted another one to keep the other cat company. She has also got 3 dogs. She must be mad to want all these animals running around. But the grandchildren (5 of them) are gradually getting independant. One is in the process of moving to Glasgow. Another is going to uni in September. So I suppose she is filling the house up again!!

She was at uni in Glasgow. Currently working in Bristol. Her accommodation there is so expensive. She has asked for a pay increase, they have offered £10per month. She has spotted HR jobs in Glasgow paying 10 grand more and accommodation so much cheaper. All her uni friends are up there too.

my parents did that - as we left, 1 dog and 2 cats added to their menagerie - so 4 and 8 by the time we had departed their fair shores.
