Just had egg n chips for my tea, years since I’ve had that,was delicious ,what meal do you not have much of anymore ?
Just bought a Ninja air fryer , I gave my Tower one to my s.i.l last year as the chips were never cooked through, this ones great, chips with skins left on
It’s the simple pleasures :0)

Cod n chips up here ( like JD) says ,are around £6-95 and you can’t get much nearer the North Sea than we are or North Shields where the ‘catch of the day’ comes in

You'd be very surprised, Bobbi, my gran used to make me double egg 'n' chips all the time when I went for holidays to Cyprus. My grandparents (paternal) had their own little chicken, hen and turkey farm and eating fresh eggs was a treat back then. You can definitely taste the difference between fresh and commercial eggs. And chicken for that matter.

Yes you can, my friends partner is friends with someone who has chickens and hens, she brought me a half a dozen fresh eggs when we went out last Wednesday, the taste is so different, mind you even in supermarkets it has to bed free range,I could never eat a egg from those poor battery hens

We bought cod and chips a few weeks ago from a chippie near my new house. A small cod was £6 and large was £8 alone.

Not really, Tilly. Just south of South London. We're not going back there again though.
