X-Rays Again

On the 16th June I put a post on regarding X-Rays, my husband had just been referred to the hospital by his doctor, she said the radiologist might not allow them ,I was amazed as I thought the doctors word was law, but.....husband was sent a letter and arrived at hospital yesterday, to be told they were only going to do his hip only as the back had been done 4 years previously and they did not consider doing this again. This is a new thing apparently , started just recently and there is a lot of controversy about this. This new group is called a radiology triage, and they can over ide your doctor and it is up to them what happens, all part of the NHS cuts.

No sqad, back and hip, at the hospital they said they had sent a letter to the surgery but the surgery did not pass this info on
