Three of the other original members of Spandau Ballet (Tony Hadley, John Keeble and Michael Ellison) went to my school and first got together with Gary Kemp as a group there. Gary was the patron of my school's 400th Anniversary celebrations in 2013 and I was pleased to be able to briefly meet him at the school's anniversary "bash" at the Royal Albert Hall.
