I'm assuming that very few, if any go to night clubs on here. But over the last few weeks since pilot gatherings, and night clubs re-opening, my question is that don't they no longer dance in these venues any more? all I seem to see on TV is hundreds of people with their arms /hands in the air jumping up and down on the spot. The last time I can ever remember do that was when I was about 8/9 years old on spots day at school. How do they manage to meet anyone just jumping on the spot. :0)

even when I went to clubs they were not the places to meet people, you can't talk for a start.
8/9 years old with spots ..... perhaps no one wanted to meet !

Ok I missed it sports day. TTT there is always a dance area in a club, but they still just jump up and down on the spot looking towards the DJ?
At the bar, just like the ‘ old days ‘
Clubs have been 90% about the thumping beat and flashing lasers for some years now.

You can usually find a quieter area for a drink or chat and there's always texting ;-)
I'm not sure that what I did on the dance floor in night clubs ever really qualified as 'dancing'. Many of these moves look all too familiar to me ;-)

^^ LOL, It may be because they've given their gym membership up.
Bring back the jive, Northern soul and the pogo.
bring back proper dancing but make sure your partners are human

Now, this was serious dancing ;-)

. . . and then there was . . . ;-)

all a bit slow though, buenchico

I’m also puzzled…,,
jno...unlike any dad dancing I've ever seen. ;)
And except for one young woman and her partner, definitely one for the men to do by the looks of it.
Wow.
I suspect it's been many decades since people went to clubs to "meet someone".
