Wireless Netwroks?

My friend recently moved into a house. He doesnt have a BT phone line or any other phone line, he doesnt want one either as he lives off his mobile phone.

Can he get any sort of internet connection? Wireless maybe?

Some ISPs do offer wireless Internet from a local point of presence. I know someone who basically has a wireless Ethernet connection to his PC from an aerial in the loft.

I don't know supplies it but it is possible.

I don't have a phone line but have the broadband connection from Telewest.
