Storms, Thunder, Lightening?

I know it was predicted on the forecast but I wonder who is getting the storms etc?
It has rained a bit here in Manchester but the sun comes out and dries up all the rain.:-)

It's rained hard most days this week, had rolling thunder on Wednesday although no discernible lightning, damp today and quite cool.

The weather is weird. One of my friends lives a 10 minute drive away and when I was talking to her on the phone earlier, I could hear the hailstones hitting her conservatory roof and it was sunny here!

I'm in the east of Scotland and it is grey and dismal. We are supposed to be getting thunder soon but it doesn't seem likely.

The storms followed me up the A303 today which made for some pretty terrible driving conditions in places.

We've been promised thunderstorms every day for about 3 weeks, which might clear the air a little. But, just a little light rain on and off and still very warm.
