i think twist in a card game is to be given cards

I think your right mally with twist and shout. If other person has identical card they are twisting as in cheating

I'm thinking error in these clues.

chuka demos and pliers had a number 1 with twist and shout 18th dec 1993 for 2 weeks

Sorry mally - so they did. Had a brainstorm and was thinking of the Beatles version.

While I'm on - it's funny how these two clues differ from the other examples though isn't it?

So are you going for Ice Ice Baby and Twist and Shout.
The only thing I'm not sure about with Ice Ice Baby is the clue doesnt indicate the Baby part whereas the others seem to cover the whole answer
