Little Tigs's dad has been here since Monday but left just now. He's made the annex his own and enjoyed his stay but has to go back home to his mum. Me and Little Tigs are on our own but the house feels so empty now.

We did lots of stuff like go for walks and shopping and I'm already missing him. He'll be back soon, though unsure when.

It's lovely being in my new home but feeling a bit homesick for my parents place :o(

Well you've always got us :-)
Aw, tiggs, keep in mind that he'll be coming back soon and everything will return to normal.
Hi tigger. My daughter moved back here with our granddaughter two years ago. She will find a place of her own in the not so distant future. Being a single parent is hard work in lots of ways. This is quite a recent move isn't it? It will be strange for you & little one at first. I'm sure you both miss the bond you had before with your parents. Think of the positives you've gained moving on x
When will you be adopting another family member?

I have lived on my own for a long time. But this is the first time that I have had nobody to talk to. Frankie got more vocal as he got older.

Everything seems so strange just now. It is a bit scary sometimes.

I am not sure if Theland's post is meant to cheer you up or make you more depressed.
:-)
Might be a good idea thorough get another rescue cat, Susan.

Sorry, I was too tired to post last night.

Not sure about getting cats just yet. Still got lots to do with the house and I don't feel quite ready yet.
Lazy moo Xx

I feel that way when away from my nieces but happy knowing they’re safe and well.
Your new house probably isn't quite home yet Tiggs. Give it time. Being with your parents for a while meant you got used to other, adult company...so now when you have visitors the emptiness hits a bit harder.
I don't see my daughter and her partner very often, and I always absolutely dread it when they leave. The silence is almost painful.

One of my neighbours has organised a street party for VJ Day today and my brother said he would come over with SIL and nephew later. Lots going on.

One thing I'm glad of though is that he didn't take little Tigs back home with like he usually does.
Hi tigg, I thought you and ex mr. we’re estranged ? Is he now visiting your home for contact with little tiggs ?
Question Author
Yes Anne, we are estranged but I've got the room now for him to stay and we're on good terms.
