Friday The 13Th Lucky Or Unlucky.

I purchased a lottery ticket today. The first one in years. The reason was Friday the 13th is usually lucky for me. Just a date on the calendar, or a silly superstition what’s your opinion?

Much the same as any other day but lucky I guess as my husband was born on Friday 13th

Lordy I do the euro lottery every Friday and have for years. Saw this thread and realised I'd forgotten, logged on and I was 10 minutes too late so unlucky for me. I don't think I'll dare check my numbers tomorrow.

Bobbi, my son too was born on Friday 13th. Often joke about how I nearly called him Damian!!!

Lucky - seriously lucky!!

I am in the middle of having two upper jaw tooth implants.

That has involved having roots extratced, waiting for them to heal, and then yesterday, having the inplant bases and pegs inserted.

Considering what is involved - twho hours of having my gums cut open, and two metal pegs drilled and inserted into my skull, and then the gums stiched, and the whole proceedure taking more than two hours, I was not looking forward to waking up today when all the anasthetic had worn off - agony city beckoned.

And not a twinge! Absolutely nothing at all!!

Apart from the stich ends, which are basically fishing twine sticking out into my mouth, which is a minor annoyance, I can't tell I have had anything done at all.

So yes, Friday 13 has been really lucky for me.

Wellll last Friday 13th smashed the end of my finger at work innvolved A&E and xrays and stitches. This Friday 13th email from a ( very large ) company that I worked for up until covid ( ferlew ect ) telling me that I'm on the short list for a job that sounds very good.

Good news for me also as I had blood-work done around 2pm and got the results on my computer about 2 hours later saying that my hemoglobin level had risen to 103. This is the result of a self-administered weekly IM injection of a hormone to increase the production of red blood cells...It had better be working as it costs $500 per shot!:)

Sharon, 'Damian' was the character in The Omen, born at 6 a.m. on the 6th June - hence the 666.
Jason was the character in the Friday The Thirteenth franchise.

Andy - good luck with the rest as I have had the dental implants of 4 too. Yes the dental twine just like black thread was hidden with the temporary dentures.

But all in all it took 6 months for all work to be completed. I hope you are happy with them.
