I just watch the auditions and then forget about it. The only thing I like is seeing the crazy people who genuinely believe that they are the next big thing and are then shocked when they're told that they aren't. They only dig a hole when they start begging.

After the audition it goes waaaay downhill. None of the acts will ever have any credibility. I suppose if you don't care who buys you're records, have no artistic ideas and just want to sell lots then X-Factor is great... if you're a male who can sing better than every other person that has turned up.
