I went in to a shop to watch a Steve Ovett DVD but the Covid ended up taking precedence.
yep load of old pony, not even sure what "covid secure" could possibly mean.
It's probably like "water resistant" - it lets water in but doesn't want to.
From the link, "The HSE has said that being 'COVID-secure' means "businesses need to put in place workplace adjustments to manage the risk and protect workers and others from coronavirus".

There is also guidance for employers here,

There’s an outdoor pizza place I passed earlier that has only one door:
Marked “Entrance Only”

They were packed :-)
Seems there is no need to display such notices since July 19th 2021

If it's an outdoor pizza place, why does it need a door at all Ich?

Well the one shop today was a small charity shop, when I say small charity shop, 8/9 people in and it is packed, the only difference I could see from normal was a bottle of hand sanitizer at the door. In this case is that seen as covid secure?
No idea if anything is set in stone or if things have changed since July.

I take my own precautions to keep as safe as possible and don't expect others to do it for me, easier that way.
Basically means screens are i stalled for the checkout people and the staff wear mask and try to implement two meter rule and offer hand sanitiser etc but it is a customer staff joint effort to be safe for every body involved
“ If it's an outdoor pizza place, why does it need a door at all Ich?”

It’s in a fenced-off courtyard and I’d imagine in any case that they wanted to control entry
Just ask them teacake and maybe do some research next time before posting it means following the guidance. Maybe they don't need it now but it's harmless and may reassure visitors who saw the sign when it was needed and might wonder whether it was no longer safe to visit if they took it down. Or maybe they just haven't got round to removing it or updating it.
Sorry Ich, it was a lame attempt at humour :-)
"It's probably like "water resistant" - it lets water in but doesn't want to." -- nice one ;o) ... somewhat like the current 'leaky vaccines'.

Sorry Ich, it was a lame attempt at humour :-)”

I did wonder if they were attempting humour but it seems not.
It’s probably a case of a sign never being removed.
Our local Pets At Home still operates a tortuous one way system. I hit a couple of dead ends before finding the cat food …
