Gas And Electric Charges.

Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this.
Do you know what you pay for gas and electric in a month ( average ) and do you ever use the compare prices websites?
Any recommendations ?

barry, I know you mean well by suggesting DD but it's just not for me. Was going to phone E-ON today ( I forgot!) as I know they will tell me if I'm on the best deal they can offer as I would rather stay with a company I've never had any problems with plus, after reading on here what some Abers pay, I think what I pay is ok.

I just have electric (no gas where I live).

I'm with Symbio Energy. 12.11p per kwh and standing charge 14.762p

They've only recently made mention of changing to smart meters on their bills.

I have a dumb smart meter and quite happy for it to remain so.

A friend has 2 properties in differen parts of the country and in both cases the smart meter has not been sending readings!
