Unfortunately our local post office has closed and going into the City is only possible every 2 weeks.
Does anybody know how much a Stamp for a Letter for the USA is Please? and EEC? Thanks.

For letters that aren't classed as 'Large':
Europe = £1.70 (up to 100g).
USA = £1.70 (up to 20g) or £2.55 (up to 100g).
For 'Large' letters:
Europe = £3.25 (up to 100g)
USA = £4.20 (up to 100g)
A (regular) letter must not exceed 24cm in length,16.5cm in width and 0.5cm in thickness, otherwise it becomes a Large letter.

If you've got a printer, you don't need to buy stamps. You can simply pay for your postage online (which is what I always do these days):

(You don't even need to go to a post box if you don't want to. For an extra 30p with that service, the postie will collect an item from your home).
