Toby doesn't seem to like using his tray more than once. If he's piddled in the tray, he won't also poop. Or puddle a second time unless it's scooped.

He was rescued by a charity that specialises in rescuing long term strays and sometimes feral. Their policy for many is that they become indoor cats, so they don't risk ending up on the street again.
