At last I ventured into the barbers shop, gave the lady £20 and told her to just keep cutting until the money runs out!
Longer than my shoulders, but now all gone to a respectable two inches long back and sides and all swept back.
Well, I like it. Still not dyed it blue though :-)
We had ours cut on Tuesday, he had what he always has, I had mine cut really, really short and it feels soooo much better.
It’s a double whammy because firstly, it’s very short so very cool, and secondly I don’t need the hairdryer on it so don’t get hot doing that.
Best of all though, I really like it :)
I have an appt tomo- not with my usual stylist a a last minute one at anyone who cld fit me in! Bit risky but vital as having an interview next week and I need a cut n highlights. I’m growing the natural grey in and atm I have a 2-tone look.

My mum was forever telling him to get a hair cut and he was adamant he was growing it and going to dye it blue! When he passed away on Saturday one of the first things I thought when I saw him was "we never did dye your hair blue" he wanted it so much to stand out from the crowd, but he did that so well anyway, just the way he was.
