I don't quite understand the last sentence (because they.... screen). Why do whipsaws mean you can be a successful trader and still have a full life away from the screen?

The reality is these whipsaws are inevitable, whether you’re sitting at the screen or not. They’re an acceptable cost of trend-trading, acceptable because a few big trends pay for all those little losses. And also acceptable, because they mean you can be a successful trader and still have a full life away from the screen.

* Whipsaw is a condition where a security's price is moving in one direction when it quickly changes and moves in the opposite direction.

If its a genuine question not a preliminary to spam ithink it's just automated trading so you can leave it to work while your out sunbathing or walking the dog
