My OH is awful at painting, you think I would of learnt by now...he's got it on the grouting at the top of my kitchen tiles, any idea how to get it off apart from scraping it off. Tia

If there's any on the tiles, scratch that off with a sharp blade.
Then... run a bead of silicone sealant (using a sealant gun) right along the top of the tiles and the grout.
That'll hide it, and make for a much better finish.
Dip a finger in a cup of water and run it along the bead to finish it smoothly.

I'm presuming the paint on the tiles is emulsion not oil based. No need to scratch anything, soak some paper towels in hot water and stick them over the tiles. Leave for abut 10 minutes then rub vigorously with a non scratch sponge and the paint should come off -sometimes you can even peel if off. As for the grout, if you haven't used grout sealant when the tiles where first put on you are doomed :-) Do what Builder says.
