morning - i hope you are all ok and that your day is a good one. Apart from a call from my GP there is nothing in the calendar, but that might change. Do you have any plans for the day, or are you working, if so at least it's almost the weekend to look forward to.
I've been making a lot of sawdust recently Emmie.
Hopefully the bits that aren't sawdust will be assembled and sold.
Just a hobby thing.
Keeping well yourself?
i guess you can't go anywhere if you are in lockdown still 1ozzy,
that must be very frustrating. I still haven't heard from my friends in Australia, which is of concern as she is very old and can't have too many years left.
I've just been told that I can go home as soon as they've put all the stuff that I need to take home together.
With regard to missing phones, the vast majority of them do get handed in. When, a long time ago, I managed a busy town centre pub on Friday and Saturday evenings, people would frequently ask if anyone had handed in a phone. They rarely left disappointed.
Similarly, when I ran a largish train station,we had several phones handed in every day.
i almost lost a set of keys the other day, a kindly person asked if anyone had lost a purse, i owned to the fact they were a set of keys and showed them to her. I always carry one set on me and one in the bag, and they must have fallen out in the toilet in the pub.
I've contacted the restaurant and apparently they have a phone in the safe but the lady I spoke to couldn't get to it. I gave her my number so she could ring and see if it is my phone they have and she said she would call me back on OH's phone.
Yes, I suppose you're right. I had to give the woman I spoke with both numbers three times though. I think I'll have to call them back rather than wait for a call.
