Any Ideas For Making Son's 21St Extra Special?

I'm talking about the family celebratuon more than nights out with mates. Have already got a whole PowerPoint/video slide show sorted (which has taken 3 months to prepare ) with emotional playlist and includes all family members, plus have made a scrapbook from birth to 21 with selection of pics, and will have banner decorations but just wondered if anyone had any other ideas to make it extra special or had done/seen a great way to celebrate? Grateful of any ideas...TIA

You're entitled to feel proud and excited by his milestone birthday, just be sure you're doing all of this for him and not for yourself, before you add more. If you know he'll love it then how about a recorded video message from a celebrity? Google it.

I'd worry that the "emotional playlist" might embarrass him. I understand that if this is typical of such family celebrations, he'll not be surprised by it. But in my experience most young people might not welcome such attention.

Are you a little old fashioned? Or is it a cultural thing? I ask cuz when i was 21 my parents werent invited to my 21st Bday chindig.
