I'm on my way to Plymouth to complete my 9 week training course at HMS Raleigh.
Surrounded by the best lads I've ever met I've definitely found my calling in life.
Going to miss my amazing family they are the best family God could have gifted to me .
Wishing all you answerbankers a happy Monday:)

Good luck - a mate of mine from schooldays was one of HM's nuclear sub commanders, and then ended up as Dartmouth commodore before retiring and taking over as harbourmaster of a Devon port. We are not expecting you to post on a regular basis or to feel any obligation on behalf of your late father. We will be grateful when you do update us but understand that being in the RN will have its own restrictions and distractions. Have a safe journey and LISTEN. Have 2 ears and one mouth, don't bully or be bullied, earn your respect in there and you will have it to spare for others for the rest of your life. Bon Voyage. ...
