Just catching up here (after having spent most of the day sleeping):

3 & 2 count as 'bare pass marks', in my opinion, Mozz. So not too bad really, I think! Better luck next week though ;-)

Ellipsis: It won't matter who I try to emulate; I'll never be any good at cryptic crosswords. They're a total mystery to me!
