I read an article last week about an unfamiliar titled programme that was hidden away on a lesser channel. It is an old style type like Heartbeat / All creatures etc. which would be more suitable on an afternoon terrestrial tv. Has anyone any idea what it could be? (It’s not WPC 56). Thanks

No, it isn’t a big popular named one.
Can I please ask where you read the article thank you.
From the "clues" you've given, it could be just about anything! Dr Finlay's Casebook? The Galloping Gourmet? World At War?
The Indian Doctor?
The Bass Player and the Blonde?
The Indian Doctor, currently on Prime?
ThebMarvelous Mrs Maisel?
The Onedin Line?
There was an afternoon programme on ITV in the 80s called 'Take the High Road'. I think it was about a village in Scotland.
It was indeed. Glendarroch.
Loved Take the High Road - this could turn into a very long thread.
Thanks ^^^^JimF

Hello again. Thanks for all these. I can’t remember where I quickly read it (might have been one of the Expresses columnists). I understood it to be a newish unheard one similar to A Family at war or The bomb girls though not necessarily a wartime storyline, just nostalgic. Back to you!
A place to call home?
Home Fires?
