Tv 'Auto Switch Off'

Good morning folks. My TV has begun to switch off after about ten minutes. I get this message - 'Power will be turned off by auto shut down soon'. I have tried all the times on the timer setting but it remains the same. Any suggestions welcomed. Ta

hope you find an answer, my tv is set to never go off automatically but it still does occasionally . . .

Hi Corby. It is a Sony - not a recent model.

you could reset the sony tv to factory settings but you would have to retune it.( not a hard job)

Good morning folks. I (well my wife) backtracked on all that we had tried previously and suddenly it was working normally! Technology does that I was once told! Thanks for all the responses.
