I’m having pasta, chicken and a tomato and garlic sauce for tea, supper around nine with a sandwich , now the weather is turning I’m having porridge for breakfast, you?
Well I had some chips and fillet mignon (oh me lad-de-da) last night about 8.30-9 and never again will I eat that late - I never slept last night all night and think it was eating far too late for me anyway.
jenny joan fillet mignon la de dah indeed lol! Sometimes in the summer we have to eat late because things have to be finished on the farm. Food sits on your stomach if you eat it late. Some people normally eat around 9 pm -my daughter and her husband do - but then they stay up until after midnight every night.
I dont class one slice of toast with marmite a meal really. Lunch is usually homemade soup or a salad. We have full English on a Sunday then nothing until about 7 pm when we have our Sunday roast dinner.
that's right Aunty LOL - - went to bed too early - looked at the clock in the middle of the night expecting it to be around 4 or 5 - it was a quarter to one - oh gawd.
A supper dish of chicken breasts on lemon slices in a terracotta dish, duly seasoned, fresh thyme, a little balsamic 'gel' and lemon juice to go over them, shallots separating the breasts. Different mushrooms to go in at the halfway point along with cherry toms. Some pasta as a carb.
I don't do breakfast, just 2 decaf coffees and cream. Never have porridge as it just doesn't keep me going.
Had corned beef hash with garlicky mushrooms earlier. Then a few gluten free seed crackers with pumpkin seed butter.
Might have ham and cheese later...and a glass of Primitivo plus some dark chocolate.
Cod, oven baked chips, salad. I will probably forgo the chips, or just a couple on the side.. :-) I'm being careful with what I eat lately, due to piling on too many pounds!. It's definitely working.
I've been having porridge in the mornings, with blue berries& raspberries, or chopped banana.
