Didn't want to digress on poor Lottie's post but how did you get out from under the bed or did you make that up.
some time ago I fell out of bed and couldn't get back onto it as I need to grasp something - when I grabbed the duvet - it fell on top of me. I have wooden floor on bedroom and so I lay on a pillow - slid myself along until I got a handle of the mattress and dragged myself up. Coulda ended up with the mattress on top of me too.

As said, he dropped me but the rug is thick and comfy so he covered me up and I stayed there with my head under the bed till I felt able to stand up and the carpet burns on my bum from being dragged across the landing had stopped smarting.... :-)
