New Posters With All The Social Issues?
33 Answers
Firstly before anyone comments these don't bother me but has anyone else noticed how many new posters come on here with quite a wide range of social issues, many are teen angst but no all. It's been happening much more in the last few months and agreed it gives the armchair counsellors an interesting topic to comment on (have often joined in myself). How do these people find this site to pour out their hearts and also seem to know to post in B&S or society? How come so many seem to be in US? We don't get new posters from US in News do we. Do we all think they are real people?
It just interests me.

And it is has occurred to me that they could possibly be "plants" by the editorial staff or even one or two of the really long-time members of AB who may have a financial interest in the company and are attempting to drum up business. How's that for a conspiracy theory:)?...Hey, don't forget, truth is quite often stranger than fiction.
I would think there's more social issues arising due to lock downs, its not just the UK that have had lock downs. So may just be spreading their wings for some sort of social contact. Armchair counsellors are perhaps better for them than not one at all, and really don't have to act, or take any advice given. Regarding them not being in the news thread, why would they be that interested in our UK news?
