Women And Men 'Are' Different But Equal
7 Answers
This has been posted in CB as it is not supposed to be a serious thread. Women and men are different but equal.
I have been reading the thread about women being expected to be streetwise. I agree with some of the comments but most of it makes women out to be weak, vulnerable creatures. We are most certainly not.
Men may be physically stronger but, in general, females are smarter and much more sensible. The Darwin awards are won mainly by men - less than 10% are women.
This clip reflects what the situation is in my view.

It could also be argued that it makes men out to be predatory and aggressive.
A man who repeatedly walks the streets of Brixton at 3am, always pished up to the eyeballs, wearing his gold chains, Rolex watch and top of the range trainers for all to see, talking loudly into the latest iPhone and flashing his wads of money around is seriously in need of educating about the risks of being attacked by muggers. A woman who allows herself to get seriously drunk in a nightclub, before walking home alone in her sexually provocative clothing across unlit parkland is equally in need of educating about the risks of being sexually assaulted. Giving suitable advice to that women about the risks she faces is no better or worse than giving advice to the guy who makes himself an easy target for muggers.

BTW, this thread about differences between the sexes reminded me of one I posted myself 13 years ago ;-)

I worked in an office where most of the staff were women. The ladies could be quite scary but the guys were just big kids.
I read an article by some feminist about the lack of women working in the building trade as labourers. She wanted the companies to employ more women. She missed the fact that it is not a job that women would actually want to do.
I don't think that one gender is more responsible than the other. I do think that women understand men much more that the totally clueless men.
Female bunny rabbits are always more aggressive than the males, it is hormonal. And guys moan about having to deal with PMS aggression every few weeks.

Female accountants were more likely than other groups to have high anxiety scores on the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scales, while male nurses had the highest rates of sickness absence.
