Update Re. Footie Boots

Got two responses back from school, one from yr7 head and one from PE teacher, both saying they understand the situation and that they are happy to help with the shoe lace issue.

Went to Sports Direct with non-fit boots and sport socks and found some studded Adidas ones for nearly half the price. Got to the exchange/refund till and the assistant told me that many people have complained about the boots I was returning so I'm not the only one. I then complained about the fact that I won't get a choice about store credit and he actually gave me a refund for the difference and told me not to tell anyone..........oops!

The new boots fit perfectly so I've had a successful day :o)

The one thing I'm most happy about is that his sports teachers are going to help him with the laces. Takes the stress off me and if he still can't grasp it I can order the no tie laces.
