I got a message off someone in messenger who asks if it’s okay to be my friend on FB as her Aunty is coming up 70 and she knows she’d like me at her surprise party , not sure who her Aunty is only that it’s Aunty Margaret , of course I gracefully accepted and now await the invite :0)) ( checked sender and she’s familiar )

I've had two messages like that, both from family members, allegedly, starting a message thread with 'how are you etc.' then adding a link with omg! you have to look at this! . Thankfully I knew this person would never send a link like that so emailed her and her FB id had been cloned. With the second one I just deleted it.
Bobbi that's the scary thing though, I got a message from my cousin and it was connected to her profile, her page, everything. Its only because I know her so well, I know she would not send a link by messenger, which got my suspicions up. I'm sure yours is ok -just a heads up to other people as its rife of FB at the moment.
Me and you agreeing on this? Haha, but yes I know what you mean , my 83 yr old sister in law got an email from someone telling her she was being watched having sex and masterbating , she was so upset anc deleted it before I had a chance to show her how to block the sender ,I agree there’s weirdos out there indeed
