Having heard the rumours and denials of his death - why haven't there been any recent adverts with him in them?

you dont see the same advert for months on end .... maybe the advert just ended, as adverts are wont to do

Unless it's for Lombard B*st*rding Direct, of course. Grrr. I suspect in this case, it was taken off to stop the internet abuse of the lad and vicious rumours about his death. Or maybe Frosties were finding their sales dipping as people boycotted them in protest.

As bednobs says, all advertising campaigns are booked in advance.
The ad was running well into the rumours.
If it is not being shown now, it may simply be that its time is up.
Most campaigns enter a review period to access their effectiveness.

I'm with neti, I never understood why the ad drove people to want to commit murder, there's far more annoying ads out there, take the Picture Finance guy....now him, I'd happily do 10 years for!

Although the kid in the advert had to go into hiding as he was getting loads of hate mail death threats over the advert.

Apparently he's a South African gymnast called Sven and he's taking it all with a pinch of salt - says if we lot find the ad annoying, imagine how horrible it was to make the it!" Good on him, he's only 15 yrs old, now if it was Michael Winner I could understand it.
