How do you look after your skin?
Do you cleanse and moisturise before bed and do you use anything to discourage lines, blemishes etc.
If you do, I'd be interested to know what you use although I fear I may have left it too late.

APG that looks ideal.
When one of my daughters asks me what I would like for my birthday, I can send her that link.
I'm excited now :-)

Spoilt for choice now.
Many donkeys ago I went to one of those parties where you got a facial and then you could buy the products.
I remember they put a liquid on that helped to prevent blackheads, I think it stung a bit but I can't remember what it was called.
Would it have been called a toner?
Go for it Barsel :0)
Probably a toner with alcohol in it -totally wrong for skin, dried oily skin up, but then the skin produced more oil to compensate.

Will do APG.
Thanks for all your answers.

That should have said , Thanks for all your answers everyone. x
My Grandmother always used johnsons baby lotion. At the age of 88 she had beautiful, clear and unwrinkled skin. Still it could be genetic? I have always used Anne French cleanser and all sorts of different moisturisers and I have good skin so maybe it is generic?? who knows.
Use simple cleansing wipes at night and plain warm water in the morning. Nivea sunprotection 15 in the morning (now for older skin) and Nivea night cream for Older skin). Have used moisture cream since I was 15. Cheap regime.
Definitely genetic. The females in our family all look younger than their age with very few wrinkles, except the aunt that smoked.
Just dove soap which I apply with a small loofah type sponge to exfoliate and then rinse with warm water.
I rely on a mixture of genetics, good hydration, and plenty of fruit and veg. If I do wear make-up on those occasions I do cleanse with a gentle lotion but otherwise it's coal tar soap and a rough facecloth
Ronseal. Does exactly what it says on the tin :-)
If you are talking faces then a lot of it does have to do with luck and genes but although simple products like Nivea etc will keep you moisturised they won't tackle fine lines you've already got. I was going to suggest as APG, the Boots protect and perfect range was the first thing I've ever used that I know has reduced lines and smoothed my skin. If you want to splash out I have had similar results with the expensive Charlotte Tilbury magic serum.
I've been using No 7 serum. It's very good.
My daughter bought me a big one last Xmas. It lasts for ages.
Also, remember to drink lots of water.
I stopped using cleanser and went back to a flannel and facial soap (mainly because cleanser and a cotton pad doesn't remove waterproof suntan lotion) Never bothered toning as that's the same as splashing your face with water. Most of the skincare product claims are complete rubbish.
when a friend came to stay over the weekend - she couldn't get over how much Astral I would use, but she got used to it LOL

however one time I took an itch in my ear and upon putting an ear bud in my ear - took out some Astral cream - I had overdone it.
i wash my body, face with simple soap and that's it, i use that as i am allergic to scented soaps, i used to use Olay moisturiser but haven't done so in years, don't know why. I was told recently i had nice skin, which i took as a compliment.
