Chicken for me earlier, all the trimmings and I make my gravy like RH - I could never manage the meat juices kind, always went lumpy on me so i gave up trying
Ducksie my mother did it that way and her gravy was the best so I carried on with it .
I also did it that way when I worked in restaurants and never had any complaints x
I like it that way RH, and if you pickedit up that way from your Mam, that's usually the tastiest gravy you will know - My Mam made the best gravy - I always thought anyway - but I just didn't get the hang of it :( box granules here ;)

I always use Bisto best gravy granules ( beef or chicken) to thicken up the meat juices and stock. Ordinary Bisto has Wheat flour in it so I can't use it, but the 'best' brand uses potato flour.
I never knew that about the flour APG - good to know if i were feeding someone with a gluten free diet or something
It has to be the 'Bisto Best' granules in the jar -the bisto granules in the cardboard carton have wheat flour in too.
