Hearing Loss In One Ear
4 Answers
I’m in my 60s and have lost some hearing in one ear. The audiologist has examined inside and there is no blockage or damage. I’ve noticed though that my nose now blocks up every night when i lie down to sleep. Anyone got any idea if these issues might be connected please ? (No pun intended) thanks

They gave her a little hearing aid (but I am wearing hearing aids all my life) and this is not a hearing aid per se. This is just a little amplifier, however she still says it is uncomfortable to wear as they have made the little wire between behind the ear and her ear too short. No way it is like mine - also she is suffering from tinnitus. Good luck with the NHS regarding this.
