I phoned them up as we are moving.
They professionally dealt with and booked the move and despite being mid contract gave me a large discount as a long term customer.
They have also said that that they guarantee my wifi will be up and working in order for me to work from home after moving.
Seriously impressed.
Lol the fact that I managed to talk to a human being was a positive to me - I have been trying to contact my bank for 2 weeks and had to do the chat in the end.
We moved at the end of last year. It was all super efficient until it came to us arriving at the new house.
Then they missed our appointment, for no reason whatsoever. This was just before Christmas. We had to wait until after Christmas for it to be done so we were without any internet or TV until afterwards. This meant that we couldnt join the family zoom party and we had no Christmas TV!! We ended up having to talk to each other ;)
OMG seriously - not sure Barmaid I could cope with moving house, cleaning old house, Christmas and having to talk to him - that would tip me over the edge!!
RH. I did all that. And due to Covid we had to do our own move cos I couldn't get a removal company. I damaged my hip doing more of the upstairs/downstairs box work since it was only 4 months after Mr BM had an op on his knee after being on crutches for 8 months. The first meal I cooked in the new house was Christmas dinner. Unfortunately I didn't realise that particular oven has two temperatures. Volcanic and super volcanic.
We still have not unpacked one room.
But it was worth it and we are happy here. May you be similarly as happy.
Sorry BM only just saw your response.
We are currently moving a boot load a day, we are getting a van in to move the garden stuff and boxes then the removal guys are coming in.
We are actually a way for 2 weeks on Islay slap bang in the middle
