I was just about to go for a lovely walk over Regents Park, get a bit of fresh air and clear my head but no, all the roads are closed off, there's police everywhere and apparently there is a suspect package!!!! Goddamnit!!!!
Anyone had anything annoying happen to them today?? (thought I'd make it into a question rather than just ramble on!!)
Yes. Somebody came over and sat at the desk behind me, preventing me from casually browsing the internet for games, wardrobe prices and chatting on Answerbank.
So I killed him and squeezed his ugly butt into my pedestal unit for safe-keeping.
When I was living in London some of my friends decided to go to the cinema one evening. I was tired and said I didn't fancy going so I stayed in. In the end I had the better evening as they got stuck in a tube for 2 hours as the police were chasing some criminal down the tracks so they shut all the electricity off! This was on their way to the cinema so when the electricity came back on the tracks they just got out at the next station and came back home!
Today - nothing too annoying - just can't get on with the jobs I'm supposed to be doing as I've spent an hour on the the phone to a friend then I've had a couple of people pop round for a coffe - doesn't help that I'm now on here instead of getting on with stuff!
Hey Loobie - about as annoying as them closing regents park tube station for a year! Everyday that annoys me when I have to walk to Oxford Circus Instead!!
Yes, if you like that kind of thing Octavius! Not sure that Vanessa Feltz comes under that category, but thats who i spotted the other day on Gt Portland Street while walking to the station! lol!
I forgot my key to get into work and so was sat on the recycling box from 7:20am until 7:45am waiting for someone else to arrive. I even forgot my mobile phone so couldn't ring anyone to pass the time and there weren't shops open to buy a paper.
Me too Loobie! I swear he was looking at me the second time! lol (yeah alright!!)
Theres been loads of people i've seen down Gt Portland Street, one of the reasons I like working here!
Lemar, Stephen Fry, Sara Cox, Edith Bowman, Jo Whiley, Calum Best, Fran Cosgrave, Anthony Head (from Buffy & Little Britain) James Nesbitt, Jake from Eastenders.. the list goes on!! I think it's cos I work so near the Radio One building and there are loads of studios and things down this street.
