If one is recording two different programs on a Freeview box that has two discs and is accessed by satellite, then is it possible to watch a third program on the same tv but accessed by aerial ?

I'm confused! Freeview isn't only available via satellite; only Freesat is. (They're not the same. They've got different channel line-ups among other things). Assuming though that you're using a Freesat PVR (or similar), with two tuners in it, then you are able to watch another (Freeview) channel at the same time on your TV set. Assuming though that you're using a Freesat PVR (or similar), with two tuners in it, then you are able to watch another (Freeview) channel at the same time on your TV set. If you wanted to, you could even disconnect the telly from the PVR, take it into another room and connect it to an aerial there; the PVR would still continue to record the chosen programming without a TV set attached to it.
