32 Or 33Cm Plate

I am looking for the above and able to use in oven - I am only prepared to pay a fiver. It is for when I make my Pavlovas.

Broke my other beloved plate which was great but cannot for the life of me remember where I bought it.

This is an aside

I was to make a pavlova for my neighbour last March or so - her hubby is about 30stone or more let's say - you know those programmes for large people trying to lose weight and they go to Dr Now - well he died yesterday with a stroke and it took 2 ambulances and 2 fire brigades to get him out of the house. But the pavlova was for wife.

However two young sons were going the way of the dad and haven't both in the last two years lost 9 stone and 10stone - they are only about 18 and 24 - so they're looking great. Sorry to put this on the home and garden site.

Well I can sympathise with him as I was 32 stone

well RH - he must have been more as they couldn't get his body out of the house and whilst they would have liked him back to the house to be waked - coffin was too big.

RH - my deceased brother's girlfriend - her sister is going through what you got done. Mind you I myself get mixed up with the sleeve or the bariatric but she is getting the full operation. She just cannot lose weight no matter how hard she tries and in fact she feels she is gaining. When I think of her I do think of you coming through the same thing.

I am sorry to be talking about a guy's death when the topic should be 32cm plate.

Barry looked at that post of mine and at that time I didn't realise that I am basically looking at an oven ready plate of 33cm (that's the size) - now very cheap.

bariatric surgery is the name given to all weightloss surgeries.
That is then broken down into the most common - Bypass, Sleeve or band.
I would advise anyone to stay away from the band and go for the sleeve or bypass

Sister is in contact with this girl's sister and she (sister) hasn't a clue what she is getting. I know there are a few varieties but truly don't know what she is getting.

Can I ask a question - is one of those you mentioned where you get practically the whole stomach away just leaving you a little stomach.

The sleeve removes 80% of your stomach leaving a little behind (that's what I had)
The bypass reduces your stomach but leaves the remainder behind in your cavity incase you need a revision later

and although you don't recommend the band - surely if it doesn't work out for the patient you can get the band removed

one thing I know after the operation she will be wearing corsets? would that be correct - that enables her skin to go back to normal - mind you that what's sister says - she's inclined to embellish tho.

Yes you can have the band taken out but then you go back to having a normal side stomach.
A corset? lol thats a new one! her stomach/skin post op will depend on her size preop - if she was very big and older then her skin is never going to shrink and she will end up with excess skin.
I am assuming she is going private.

rh - think she is going private she is 57 years old so don't think she will have much elasticity in her skin

There is not a corset in existence that can prevent or help with sagging skin
