Six officers for a terminally ill man for mooning? And on top of that dragging him to the ground. Honestly?

I bet if he was burgled not a single copper would pitch up.

And since when does vandalism become a terrorist action? It's not right but surely the local Bobby should sort it out, there were no death threats and no links to any extremism it wold seem.

Smacks of a Tory over using their power - no surprise there with the current incumbent in No 10.

A Stoke on Trent Police officer offering to knock out a young female.
He was ''retrained''aparrently....

A member of the public would have been up in court!!

I have a massive rse appearing on my TV on the news almost every night and nobody does a damned thing about it.

It's just Boris being Boris, apparently.
Nailit, he should be retrained. Retrained in a different career, as he's clearly not cut out for police work.
6 people to arrest a man who mooned at a camera. A violent arrest.
I am not the least bit bothered he was terminally ill, the Police should just not behave like that for a very minor offence.
I remember a few years ago when I was violently attacked in the street. In hospital the Police said they would come and take a statement the next day - no one ever turned up.
the police are also saying something about dangerous driving. I don't know if a wheelchair was involved

But clearly they are fighting widespread criminality in lawless West Mercia:
"In January, the force said snowball fights were not a justifiable reason for people to leave their houses during lockdown and issued a warning that this "behaviour is likely to result in a £200 fixed penalty notice for breaking the lockdown rules".
15,41. A post from Danny really quite sad. I iterate for my profession.
Just think if shoplifting is on his bucket list.
Ive had the absolute carp kicked out of me by the police above once
(In the days when 'slipping down the stairs' was commonplace.)
Ive sustained injuries to my wrist and back. Sustained stitches to my head after been kicked in it while detained by a gang of Police thugs.
(Apparently, I slipped on a kerb.....whilst in the police station!!! ...several stiches later and got a fine for been nothing more than D&D)

On the other hand,
Ive had dealings with other Police officers who have been
nothing but helpful.

(But thats probably due to the number of cameras that have now been installed at Police/Custody facilities?

^ Or you were sober and not being a knob^
//Or you were sober and not being a knob//
No, I was not sober (Think that I'd already stated that, but never mind...We all miss these little intricacies)

Yes, the police do sometimes get it wrong, of that there is no doubt, but on the other hand we often see programmes on TV where they themselves are viciously attacked by thugs, both verbally and physically while trying to do their jobs.
What I was NOT being was a knob.
Drunk, yes!
Compliant. Yes!
Boot in the head and several stiches WHILST in custody????

'On the other hand' gave the impression that you'd moved on, like I'm doing now.
//we often see programmes on TV where they themselves are viciously attacked by thugs//

BUT You dont see on TV any programmes where police kick *** out of suspects. Why is that I wonder????
//On the other hand' gave the impression that you'd moved on, like I'm doing now/
Apologies...
Please do.
