You Are Jimmy Page ...
17 Answers
We spent the weekend in Belfast with friends, and on Sunday morning, walking down the road, I saw a man who was the absolute double of Jimmy Page, and he was carrying a vinyl copy of the Presence album under his arm!
I decided it was simply a looky-likey enjoying still being able to sport a silver-fox mane of hair, and trim figure, and opted not to approach him and speak to him - hearing the distinctive Page voice, or not, would have settled the question once and for all.
But now I wish I had - just to be sure - to be sure!

Of course, silly me.
I can recognise him because he is one of the most famous guitarists in the world, and he can recognise me because of the two-foot-square neon flashing badge with I AM A MUSIC JOURNALIST - PLEASE NOTICE ME! on it that I wear in public at all times!

Belfast played host to a genuine music legend - as Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page dropped into town.
The guitarist, 72, whose hits include Stairway To Heaven and Whole Lotta Love was spied in both No Alibis bookstore on Botanic and having a bite to eat at Mourne Seafood Bar in the city centre.
Page was in town supporting his girlfriend, poet Scarlett Sabet, who was part of the Aspects Festival with none other than Sir Van Morrison.

Ken - // I honestly would have approached him, Andy. Autograph and a selfie with the great swordsman. You really missed out, there. //
I quite agree!
What happened was, i saw him, thought he really looked like JP, but what would JP be doing walking around Belfast with a Zeppelin album under his arm, that would just be too much of a cliche!
And in the time it took to think that, he had walked quite a way away in a diagonal direction from me, and I would have had to run to catch him, by which time I figurred it was simply someone rocking the look, and carried on.
