Just wondering if it is possible for a cat to have ocd!? my 1 year old female, spinks, has had 1 litter of 4 kittens, 3 went to new homes, we have kept one.
But she just licks her self constantly, if splodge, the kitten we are keeping goes near her, he comes away completely covered in lick marks & soaking wet.
Spinks is losing her coat on her bum, all down her back legs and now also down her back because of where she is licking herself so much, its non stop!

:( we have other cats, her mum, her uncle, her niece & now her son, but none of our other cats have ever done anything like this before?

Please help!

I've read that it can be a sign of anxiety or stress. If it's continual and if it's causing her to lose fur or the skin is broken you'd be best ringing up the vet for advice.
