Why Are Some People So Unfriendly?

My daughter was very upset last night. Her neighbour always moans about something. She had a go at daughter's other half about something trivial, re- making a noise, putting logs on the fire! Also my daughter putting the washing machine on at 8.00 pm.., and my little 3 year old grandson making a noise in the bath..She is so unfriendly. She looks bitter & twisted..
I told them to ignore her. It's sad to know my daughter is upset. She is so kind & friendly, and would help anyone.
I think my daughter should have said, "Pardon me for living".... Unbelievable!

In new build houses the walls are thin and noise travels. The neighbour should know this and realise these are normal household sounds.
In my previous home I could hear next door’s microwave pinging.

Invite her to come around for bath-time and supper - he may appreciate the gesture as she is lonely.....maybe even get her to read a story to the wee man. Prospective baby-sitter if it comes off....?

She told my daughter's partner, he ought to be more of a man and put her ( My daughter) in her place! God knows what she meant by this. If you met my daughter, you'd see she is lovely. I'm wondering if she's losing the plot?

I had a nasty vindictive neighbour. She was mean of eye and spirit. To my family she was known as The Dragon.
Methodist church goer too.

I think she's the last person my daughter would invite around for a babysitter, DTC!
She's not a sweet old lady....

Extend the hand of friendship...and if she rejects it, your daughter ha the moral high ground if things get difficult as to the authorities -and get her to keep a diary of events - if needed.
