It is clear that you have no understanding of the Bible. When Jesus spoke of heaven and earth passing away he was not speaking literally. When reading the Bible as a whole, you will understand that earth represents people on it and the heavens refers to governments! So, yes, governments and unrighteous people will be replaced with a new Heavenly government with Jesus Christ as Head and a new world society of people
As for wicked people going to Hell. Hell is a doctrine taught by religious leaders in order to keep the people in check. The Bible does refer to hell, but as the common grave of mankind. We all go there. Even Jesus himself was there.
Naomi @ You say you know your Bible. Read it!

sparklykid@Wrong, earth will be destroyed the sun finally burns out.
No. If you read the Bible it tells you quite clearly at Psalm 78 v 69
He made his sanctuary as enduring as the heavens,
Like the earth that he has established forever.
The sun will not burn itself out either. As the Creator God is able to sustain the earth so it will not be destroyed by any means.

hence all the end-of-times asides in the Gospels ( er eschatological phrases littered around) which had to be sortta ironed out in later editions - or recensions - to get the spectac doc we have today
see Bruce Metzger - Canon of the New Testament - where did it come from where did it go to?

I don't usually take up the cudgel to argue with religious followers - it's like arguing with someone who insists there are fairies living at the bottom of his garden. He's seen them so they must exist. But I'll make an exception whilst I'm waiting for the kettle to boil:
//The sun will not burn itself out either.//
There is clear evidence to demonstrate stellar evolution. The end game is that stars do burn themselves out. That is, they eventually run out of fuel. So what makes the Sun so different to all the other stars in that respect?
