My daughter and her partner put their 6ft Christmas tree up last week for my grandson.
It's got flashing lights, disco lights..
We didn't put our tree up when we were little, till a week before the big day..

We put it up earlier now, Bobbie, only because of grandchildren. It is cosy though...
I actually like a bit of snow and ice lol - better than just being damp and grey.

Just spoken to my dil & she informs that she's putting their tree & lights up tomorrow! This is too early for me, the second weekend in December will see me putting up mine.

I don’t know where I’ll be for Christmas this year. My first grandchild is due just before. My son and Daughter-in-law have asked me to go and stay with them. But I don’t think my husband and my dad will enjoy staring at each other across our quiet table while I’m away. No other family members will be around.
