I realise this should be posted under music but I am hoping for a more mature answer.
When I retired a couple of years ago I was given a DVD of Quo's gratests hits. I enjoy listening to it regularl;y and having been to several of their concerts at Wembly consider myself a fan. I am told by my sons (youngest 28 ) I am sad and they are has beens.
Surely I am not in the minority ? Please help.

Ideally, as a teenager, your music of choice should simultaniously bind you to your peer group, and seriously get up the noses of your parents. This is even true now, when the current generation of teens have parents who grew up with pop and rock themselves, so it makes sense to diss the 'oldies' and their choices.
For the record, Quo have had more hits than any other British band since charts began, and they still have a massive world-wide fan base and tour regularly.
Best just to smile and nod - it's an argument you will never win.

I saw Quo years ago ... (ooh, a rhyme) ... and they were suberb. In fact, it's due to being a Quo fan for many years that I'm finally building a Telecaster.
In fact I was a Quo fan before I'd even heard of them (kinda).
I spent most of my childhood eating the Rossi family ice cream at Southend-on-Sea.
