My husband can no longer tolerate cows milk and is having to have toast for breakfast iinstead of cereal and milk and black tea etc - he is desparately missing milk in tea. Can anyone recommend a milk alternative. We have tried soya - has anyone tried rice milk.

I have tried ,goats milk ,soya etc and they upset my insides just as much as the cows milk.

Sorry, I posted this question in body and soul and also in food and drink to get more responses.
My husband is not I don't think lactose intolerant but gets extremely smell breath and a sour taste immediately after having milk with tea, butter or yoghurt, without milk he is fine. Most embarrassing problem!!!. I will try goats milk out on him tonight as I have just bought some and it seems to taste like cows milk. I have my doubts whether he will be able to tolerate this as it is still dairy.
