I was just mulling over as you do (maybe) that if you could filter out 'Made in China' from Amazon just how many products they would have left to sell

I wasnt particularly picking on Amazon, when i was a kid it was all 'Made in Taiwan' wonder if China will lose their grip as the years pass?
I'm sure they will, nothing is static
And don't forget that Taiwan is part of the Republic of China so those goods marked 'made in China' could well be made in Taiwan. Taiwan has a huge export market, especially in electronics and chemicals
China is the worlds workshop
Buying from there is unavoidable
Surely Taiwan IS the 'Republic of China', not just part of it? Their goods ought to be labelled 'Made in ROC'. 'Made in China' should be only used for goods produced in the 'People's Republic of China', i.e. mainland China.
Taiwan = The Republic of China
China = The Peoples Republic of China.

They are not part of the same country. They hate each other.
They both claim to be the official China
I should imagine that if Xi’s China thought the other China were putting “Made in China” on their products they’d probably nuke ‘em
