Trees down, wagon overturned ( Durham) power cuts etc, all we’ve had is plant pots blew across the decking, clock blown off the fence, nothing compared to a lot ,I hope those up in Aberdeen etc are safe as they seem to have taken a hit

I read on the news yesterday that a man in Dublin died when a tree fell on him. Poor chap :o(

Don't know if there have been anymore fatalities. Haven't read the news today.

Radio Lancashire just reported 2 dead so far, one in Lancs. Didn't hear how first one died but 2nd was hit by uprooted tree.
Very windy and bitterly cold here in Burnley at the moment, just had dog out for a walk and wore my gloves for first time in ages. We did have some snow overnight, mostly cleared but Pendle remains covered by a brilliant white blanket.
