I need a new phone just cracked mine. I like android, use it just for a few calls and viewing web occasionally when I'm out. Looking at a galaxy note 10+ refurb at £375. I only pay £6 a month for calls and web so will stay with that. Had galaxy years ago and it was very good. My current model is the Huawei P40 and is ***. Is this a good phone and deal or can you suggest an alternative. Thanx all xx

I totally agree with bednobs - you don't need to spend anything like that to get a new phone that is easily of capable of doing what you want

£375 does, indeed, seem to be a hell of a lot to pay for a phone that you hardly use.

If you want to go for a Samsung Galaxy model, the A12 is very popular among AB members. (It's also what I use myself - I love it!). It's more than enough for your needs and is currently on offer, SIM-free, for £150 in Argos:

Try your local phone repair shop - might be a lot cheaper than buying a new phone.
